Until now, Olean Sugar Factory actively operates with the unmodified steam machine and another instrument which is one of the heritages of the Duth Colony since 19th century. The steam machine was made by Gebr:Stork&Co-Hengelo-Ao in 1930.
Though still using manual instruments, Olean Sugar Factory appears as a powerful sugar factory which strings along in competition with other sugar factories in Situbondo. This becomes one of Olean's Sugar Factory appeals.
